Rust is an extremely dynamic environment, and every possible situation cannot be spelled out in black and white. If you find issues please ask a staff member first.

• Cheating/Hacking

If reporting a player you suspect of this, please try to supply as much evidence as possible. Make a detailed report following the reporting guidelines.

• Ban Evasion

Players caught circumventing a ban will have their new account(s) banned unless the original ban is reversed.

• Banned Player / Player Association

If a player is game banned or banned from one of our servers for any reason they are not allowed to evade that ban and play again on a new account. When we catch players doing this they will be banned again for Ban Evasion. Associating with these players on a new account, can and often will result in a ban for individuals or an entire team. We do not expect people to know the complete history of every individual they encounter. However, when clear and indisputable proof of players helping others evade is available to moderators, the involved player(s) will face a ban from all of our servers as well.

• Aggressive Behavior 

Aggressive behavior is a part of normal gameplay in Rust, toxic behavior is when this crosses the line into actions that go above and beyond. A prime example of this would be repeatedly using racial slurs in chat, being annoying or repeatedly being toxic towards players. Raiding someone's base over and over again, placing signs or obstructing builds.

• Offensive Material

Offensive material is a very subjective. Adult material is allowed on our server, aslong as it is tasteful and does not conflict with real world laws. The material must not be overly sexual, or depict persons outside or inside the server. 

• Glitching

Glitches are a part of any alpha game, and as such, we do not police most glitch exploitation. The only currently enforced ongoing glitch is the building of bases inside of rocks. 

• Real Life Threats

Threatening players will result in an automatic ban. These rules are only enforced on the servers and website.

• Doxing

Doxing is the act of releasing the personal information of another player. This can include any real life information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. Players found collecting or using this data will be permanently banned from all servers, a unban request will NOT be honored.

• Server / Admin Hating

If there is an issue with a staff member, either from abuse or harassment please make an abuse ticket in the proper forum. NOTE: the staff member is innocent until proven guilty.

• Base Building Rules

Bases can be built anywhere within the world. Below are the following areas that are off limits to building due to loot and item spawning,

1. Nuclear Power Plant
2. Gas Stations
3. Monuments 
4. Satellite Dish
5. Airfield
6. Sewers
7. Harbor

Basic Rules:

1. Use common sense.
2. Do not use any forum of cheats, macros or unfair software to gain advantages over players.
3. Do not exploit in-game bugs, glitches or errors in game mapping.
4. No Closing Game Via Task Mgr. To Hide Gear After Death. 
5. Do not randomly kill players if they aren't trying to kill you.
6. Basing is allowed, but beware of placing them in towns. 
7. Do not overly use excessive racism or language.
8. No Disrespecting Admins.
9. English only in chat.
10. No Combat Logging.

 Kill-on-Sight (KOS) Rules:
 

1. Banditing is allowed. Please use judgement on new players and fresh spawns.
2. Peaceful Actions. This server is geared towards peaceful interactions with players.
3. Weapons. Unless a player is acting menacing or dangerous towards yourself(i.e chasing you around with a melee weapon, firearm) you don't have the right to shoot them.

SERVER RULES AND REGULATIONS:


Basic Rules:

1. Use common sense.
2. Do not RDM someone. (Random Death Match).
3. Do not break NLR. Don't come back to the AREA that you died in within 5 minutes. (New life rule).
4. Do not backseat moderate.
5. Do not Minge/Troll.
6. Staff always have the final say, with this if you disagree with a decision, please make a forum post in the proper area of our forums.
7. The mayor has a 5 minute grace period. Continuous killing of government positions without a threat could lead to punishment.
8. Please use Admin chat for problems only.(i.e @ )
9. Do not disrespect players or the Aholic Moderation Team [AMT].
10. All Raids, Mugs, ATM hacks and Kidnappings must be adverted in chat. (/ad before doing so. You cannot be inside of a building and call raid)
11. Do not fading door abuse. (All fading doors must be set to a minimum of 3 seconds of holding)
12. Do not prop block your base or spawn.
13. Only the law enforcement can base in the PD.
14. Law enforcement can't base anywhere but PD.
15. All Gun Dealer Classes are NOT allowed to self-supply.
16. Do not metagame.(reading a chat message, and the going to respond to it)
17. Do not shoot at people in jail or out from jail.
18. If you steal (money, guns), you must advert prior to stealing it.
19. You must advert counter Raid/Mug/Kidnap before attempting to stop it.
20. Do not use exploits, cheats or otherwise game changing additions without prior AMT staff approval.
21. Do not scam players.
22. Binds are allowed. But they must be in their own format. You cannot use a Raid bind with a Raid Over bind.
23. Law Enforcement do NOT have to call raid
24. Prop climbing is prohibited.
25. As mayor you must wait 10 minutes between lockdowns.
26. Do not advertise other servers.
27. Do not advertise you or another stream or YouTube channel in adverts or text screens. This includes voice chat.
28. If a staff does something which you disagree with, please make a educated post on the forums along with proof.
29. Do not harass a staff member after they have given you a punishment.

Raiding Rules:

1. You can only raid for 10 minutes. Once it is past the allotted time, please leave and call your raid off.
2. In order to assist in a raid, you must advert Raid Assist.
3. You cannot call a raid inside someones base or property.
4. Do not use exploits, glitches or bugs to get into peoples property.
5. Only criminal jobs can raid (See more in job list)
6. Do not come back during the raid if you die.
7. Cool-down for raiding is 5 minutes, 10 minutes for the same person. New players and properties have a 10 minute grace period.
8. You can not raid the pd in another base.
9. You can not raid someone who has a building sign.
10. Police Station/Law Enforcement buildings require you to call "PD Assault" or something similar. All Law Enforcement are allowed to break the New Life Rule (NLR).
11. If you die while being raided and they call over, you cannot come back to the area where you died at for 5 whole minutes.
12. You are not allowed to blindly shoot during ANY raids. You must see your target before engaging. Shooting someone that was not involved in the situation could be considered RDM.

Warn Rules:

1. To warn somebody you do Warn 1/2/3 (reason) three times before killing them in advert chat
2. Do not abuse the warn system and/or exploit it.
3. You must wait 3 seconds before each warn.

Mugging rules:

1. The max amount of money you can mug someone for is 10,000. 
2. You must wait 5 minutes before you mug another person or 10 minutes on the same person
3. Only certain classes can mug players.
4. You must Advert MUG.
5. You Cannot pull a gun if you are being mugged
6. People can counter your mug AFTER they have adverted it.

Kidnapping Rules:

1. You can kidnap someone every 10 minutes
2. You can only have someone kidnapped for 15 minutes
3. Do not troll/deflame players with Kidnap.
4. You must advert Kidnap.
5. If you have a gun out while someone is kidnapping you, you can kill them.
6. Only certain jobs can kidnap.
7. Do not run away if someone is kidnapping you. You can be KOS'ed.

Basing Rules:

1. You can only have 1 base. A group of 4 or more can combine bases. All parties are required to own each door.
2. You can not have a building sign with a KOS sign
3. You must have one entrance for your base.
4. No fake keypads
5. 2 people must fit in the middle of every fading door.
6. You must have 1 keypad on each side of every fading door.
7. A building sign must be put up, and can only stay up for 15 minutes. You are not allowed to use money/drug manufacturing while a building sign is up.
8. There must be a KOS line along with a textscreen.
9. You're allowed to KOS the sidewalk directly in front of your base.
10. In order to megabase in a selected area, you must own all the buildings in the area. And each person can only own 1 building. This means if every building is not bought in that area by 1 person of your group, you cannot mega base.
11. No advertising via Text screens, this includes other servers, YouTube, Twitch or other outside sources.
